THE NEIGHBOURHOOD

The hotel is next to Oranienplatz in the Kreuzberg area of the city, a slightly run-down part of town where hotels and tourist attractions are not generally located.

By plane: there are direct flights to Berlin Schönefeld from London (1 hour 40 mins), Manchester (1 hour 55 mins) and Edinburgh (2 hours 5 mins). Berlin Schönefeld is around a 40-minute drive from the hotel. Book flights to Berlin.

THE LOOK AND FEEL

The hotel is very stylish, with many rooms taking advantage of the historic building's high ceilings and huge windows to create a sense of light and space. Rooms are carefully appointed with lots of wood and warm red-coloured furnishings with Asian motifs. There's a gorgeous casual living-room vibe in the downstairs bar and restaurant.
