THE NEIGHBOURHOOD

Boasting an unequalled location in the middle of the architectural masterpiece of the Royal Crescent, it's the perfect spot to immerse yourself in the city's heritage. Few cars venture down the cobbled street, but visitors on foot flock here to admire the renowned Palladian homes built from honey-coloured stone. Experience the spa town's pristine Georgian architecture by wandering to The Circus, three Palladian crescents arranged in a circle.

By car: 2 hours 30 mins from London, 35 mins from Bristol. There is parking at the hotel for guests.

By train: Bath Spa station is 20 minutes' walk, or a 10-minute taxi ride. There are regular trains from London Paddington (1 hour 20 mins) and Bristol (11 mins). Book trains to Bath Spa.
