OUR REVIEW

THE NEIGHBOURHOOD

The Beach at Bude sits above Summerleaze Beach on the North Cornish coast, just minutes from the town centre. A two-minute walk through the dunes will take you straight onto the beach, with the South West Coastal Path a stone's throw away. A short stroll takes you to Bude Sea Pool - a part natural, part man-made pool, providing a superb spot for open-water swimming.

By car: just off the A39 to Bath, the hotel is an hour and 20 minutes from Exeter or Plymouth and two hours from Taunton.

By train: Bude doesn't have great train links. It's best to jump off at Exeter St Davids and transfer to the hotel by bus or car (1 hour 30 mins). Book trains to Exeter St Davids.

By plane: Newquay Airport (1 hour's drive) and Exeter Airport (1 hour 20 mins drive).
