THE NEIGHBOURHOOD

Conveniently positioned a short walk from Falmouth station and directly opposite the town's sandy Blue-Flag Gyllyngvase Beach. Stroll to Swanpool Beach and the town centre, where you will discover a variety of independent shops and cafes at the hub of a growing art and entertainment scene. Some of Cornwall's most celebrated sub-tropical gardens are nearby, including Trelissick, Enys, Glendurgan and The Lost Gardens of Heligan.

By car: The hotel is 5 hours 15 mins from London, 3 hours 10 mins from Bristol and 1 hour 35 mins from Plymouth. There is plenty of free parking on-site.

By train: London Paddington to Falmouth Town (via Truro) takes 5 hours 20 mins. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the station. Book trains to Falmouth Town.

THE LOOK AND FEEL

A two-and-a-half-year renovation project has transformed St Michaels into a laidback modern coastal retreat. Much of the interiors have been designed and constructed in-house, sourcing materials from carefully chosen suppliers to create a unique Cornish-contemporary palette that reflects the surrounding coastal and sub-tropical landscape.

Dine in either the Brasserie on the Bay or the health-focused Garden-Kitchen. The former offers an informal setting, serving dishes crafted by Head Chef Daniel Kerr, using seasonal Cornish produce direct from local farmers and fishermen, whilst the Garden Kitchen provides a relaxed, friendly vibe.
