THE LOOK AND FEEL

This 1930s hotel has been cleverly renovated into a light-filled modern space, featuring floor-to-ceiling glass, making the most of the staggering ocean views. Think pared-back modern luxury with a nod to New England and hints of the Med - whitewashed shutters and floorboards sit against muted blues, reminiscent of the sea.

THE FACILITIES

Marianne and Jonathan Bassett are at the helm of this family-run hotel, offering a warm welcome and an attentive, yet discreet service. Boskerris adds practicality to the detail with places to hang your wetsuits and beach towels, and a huge OS map of Cornwall is marked with local tips and places of interest. Ask Sam, front of house member for almost a decade, for recommendations on the best spots for lunch and stretches of coastal path to walk.
