THE LOOK AND FEEL
An 18th-century former convent, The Alverton was converted into a hotel in 1984. A thoughtful renovation pays homage to its many heritage features - from the bell tower, slate roof and arched mullioned windows to the curved archways, ivy-clad walls and original drying racks found in the detached Grade II listed courtyard.
THE FACILITIES
Expect a warm welcome from the friendly team before kicking back on the sun-drenched terrace, ideal for a Cornish afternoon tea, or settle into the light-filled bistro or relaxed dog-friendly lounge and bar. During the cooler months, get cosy on one of the large sofas next to the open fire.
