THE NEIGHBOURHOOD

Surrounded by quintessential Cotswolds rolling hills and countryside, there are plenty of lovely walks nearby, as are many beautiful Cotswold villages and towns, such as Moreton-in-Marsh, Bourton-on-the-Water and postcard-perfect Stow-on-the-Wold.

By car: The Slaughters Manor House is 40 minutes from Oxford, 2 hours from London and around 1 hour from Bristol. Free private parking is available.

By train: Moreton-in-Marsh station is a 20 minute drive from the hotel. Trains run to Oxford (35 minutes) and London Paddington (1 hour 30 mins). Book trains to Moreton-in-Marsh.

Spread across the characterful main house and courtyard area, each room is individually designed and named after the Whitmore family, who originally passed this grand manor house from generation to generation. Each room offers Vispring beds, slippers and fluffy robes to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
