THE LOOK AND FEEL

Portraits and sketches poking fun at the Duke of Wellington adorn the walls along with pictures of gun dogs, game birds, horses and other country pursuits. A wall-length mural of game birds in the restaurant is impressive. Bedrooms, refurbished in 2019 in country greys and greens, offer contemporary luxury.

THE FACILITIES

Service is friendly and dishes are delivered pronto. As for facilities, the cosy bar serves a great selection of gins including rhubarb and apple plus craft ales from Hampshire and Surrey including the company's own microbrewery.
