OUR REVIEW

THE NEIGHBOURHOOD

It's hard to think of a more convenient, or impressive, address in central London (unless you're in line to the throne). A short stroll from The National Gallery on Trafalgar Square, down Northumberland Avenue and steps away from the Thames with the London Eye and Southbank Centre just across the river. With Embankment underground station (served by four different tube lines) right next door, the whole of London is within easy reach. The shops and theatres of the West End are a ten-minute walk away.

By car: the hotel is 4 hours from Manchester, 2 hours 30 mins from Birmingham and 7 hours from Glasgow. There is paid parking nearby.

By train: London Charing Cross and London Waterloo are both within walking distance of the hotel. London Paddington, Kings Cross and Euston stations are all around 15 minutes' from the hotel in a taxi. Book trains to London.

THE LOOK AND FEEL

Superlative craftsmanship and beautiful design are in evidence throughout the hotel's public spaces, restaurants, bars, bedrooms and suites - all enhanced by 250 specially commissioned works of art, predominantly by British artists. The Corinthia's aesthetic transcends fashion; it is the enduringly appealing combination of classical grandeur and contemporary style.

THE FACILITIES

As you'd expect from a five-star hotel of this stature, the Corinthia wants for nothing in the way of facilities. There's a 24-hour multilingual concierge with butler service for suites and penthouses, 24-hour food service, valet parking, around-the-clock access to the gym with personal trainers available, a laundry service and even an in-house florist.
