THE LOOK AND FEEL

An elegant Victorian manor house with elaborate chimneys, a fireside lounge, a beamed fine dining restaurant and ornate flower-filled urns is the centrepiece of this rambling 400-acre estate. Bedrooms are contemporary and sporting facilities first-class, and there's a relaxed holiday vibe throughout.

THE FACILITIES

After a slow start, the staff couldn't do enough to ensure we had a lovely stay. Service in the Manor House restaurant was a little over-enthusiastic but the waiter was knowledgable about the dishes and wines. The extensive array of indoor and outdoor facilities are impressive and the Elemis spa relaxing and luxurious.
