Hotel Review: East Walls Hotel, Chichester
Romantics and culture-fanatics are well served by this smartly restored heritage hideaway in a quiet street just off Chichester's town centre. The antique surrounds and walled garden (not to mention the honeymoon suite's four-poster bed and bathroom TV) might just keep you from exploring the many nearby attractions.

THE LOOK AND FEEL
In a stylish, time-straddling mash-up, antique furniture meets muted contemporary colours and splash patterned carpets. Carved wooden chests, chaise lounges and Venetian-style mirrors add character and a sense of luxury and every surface in the restored building seems to have a quality finish.
THE FACILITIES
The hosts are happy to chat and make recommendations and are perfect to quiz if you have a restoration project of your own underway. There's a small, smart bar, handy for pre-theatre drinks. Two secure parking spaces can be reserved for £20 a night, otherwise, guests use nearby public parking.
