THE LOOK AND FEEL
There's a Franco-Spanish flavour to this eight-storey modern building that was once the aristocratic residence of the Marquises de Vibraye. Ancestral portraits decorate the lobby and restaurant where the décor is a business-style mix of shiny copper, black marble and potted plants. Corridors are smart and bright with cream walls and aubergine doors.
THE FACILITIES
Arriving guests are offered a welcome glass of cava and then escorted to their room. There is a turn-down service in the evening with a goodnight gift. Meetings and events can be held in a garden facing room adjoining the restaurant; the lower ground floor has an adequately equipped but windowless fitness centre.
