Short Break: Summer Lodge Country House Hotel, Evershot
Summer Lodge is located in the idyllic Dorset village of Evershot. It's the ideal place for a country escape, with an indoor pool and a sumptuous spa.
Constructed as a dower house in 1798, Summer Lodge has been recreated as a collection of inviting guestrooms that warmly welcome guests with fresh fruit and flowers and cosy fireplaces.

In the hotel's four-acre garden, there's a croquet lawn and tennis court, or you can find peace with a mindfulness class.
Summer Lodge's splendid restaurant is the heart of the hotel. Dining is a farm-to-table affair where the chef makes the most of flavoursome local produce, including regional cheeses and Dorset truffles. The dishes are perfectly matched with wine choices from Summer Lodge's own sommelier.
