OUR REVIEW

THE NEIGHBOURHOOD

This isn't the Mallorca you've seen in the brochures; there's not a beach in sight. Instead, you are nestled in the historic hillside village of Deia with a glorious 360-degree mountainscape to enjoy. The hotel is an extension of the village, so you are right in the heart of things. The house of the British author Robert Graves is a short walk away as are many well-established hiking routes.

By plane: direct flights from London (2 hours 25 minutes), Manchester (2 hours 40 minutes) and Edinburgh (3 hours) to Palma de Mallorca. The hotel is a 45-minute drive from the airport. Free parking on-site. Book flights to Palma.

THE LOOK AND FEEL

The suites and rooms have been built to blend seamlessly with the honey-coloured stone-built houses of the village and interiors are rustic and traditional, with wooden shutters and beams and tiled floors. The grounds are spread over 35 acres and include ancient olive trees, which are used to create an in-house olive oil.

THE FACILITIES

Service is friendly and personable while being discreet and professional. Every guest request is satisfied swiftly - if you require something that's not on the menu, the ingredients will be sourced; if you want something collected from your room, it will be by your side within minutes.
