OUR REVIEW

THE NEIGHBOURHOOD

Port Soller on the west coast of Mallorca has a pretty marina and an array of bars and restaurants. The Jumeirah hotel, perched on a cliff above it, provides a free hourly shuttle to get to and from the port if you don't want to navigate the winding roads. Jutting out into the marina with yachts moored on three sides is the Suculenta restaurant that serves a choice of fine dining or fast food.

By plane: there are direct flights from London (2 hours 25 mins), Manchester (2 hours 40 mins) and Edinburgh (3 hours). The hotel is a 35-minute drive from Palma de Mallorca airport. Paid parking costs €25 per night. Book flights to Palma.
